HISTORICAL
EVIDENCE |

Municipality
of Nestoros owes his name to
the homonym palace of King Nestora, who
fought at Trojan War. The palace
was built on the hill of
Epano Eglianou, South West of
Hora. It was
destroyed at 1200
p.C. from fire. In
the same Municipality and in the villages
Volimidia and Koukounara
they found many mycenean discoveries. Finally, in
Maniaki Village
Papaflessas was killed, fighting
in the battle of it.
